This would be the perfect center for shapes and building in our 3 Kindergarten classes. It is so important that kids use blocks in Kindergarten for discovery. This helps their spatial awareness and allows them to create something using their imagination and feel success while using logical reasoning skills. These are all things that promote and scaffold thinking about math and science in the future. Learn more »
Some of the kids in my classroom (year after year I have kids like this) are unable to sustain reading for long periods of time due to the need for movement. I believe that this will help those kids read for longer periods of time by using movement as a motivator. I mean face it... most of us tap a pencil, swivel our chairs or have some other concentration quirk. Let's play into that and help these kids read! Learn more »

We are doing another fabulous year of enrichment clusters in our school! I have decided to do the painting cluster and really need the space to dry the kids work. It can't just sit all over the floor it ends up getting ruined :( These kids deserve to have their fabulous work displayed when it is dry! :) Learn more »

Unfortunately, when we have performances the parents cannot hear the kids when they do their individual parts. It would be amazing for the kids to have this for writing workshop publishing parties also! The kids have such small voices this would really help them to be heard during their story and would give them confidence to speak in front of a group on a microphone in the future! Learn more »
We print a lot of pictures! They are helpful when we are creating books about the students to get them interested in reading and storytelling. We also use pictures in math and science to take a closer look at things that we saw outside of the school! Learn more »
