“I teach mathematics to about 60 seventh grade students. My students tend to come from disadvantaged homes, but they are eager to learn. In order to provide the needed supplies and to motivate my students, I invest a lot of money into my classroom. I would love to get any assistance possible to help ensure that my students will succeed!”

I have a traditional pencil sharpener attached to the wall, but most of my students cannot effectively use it without their full size pencil becoming 2 inches tall. Therefore, students constantly ask me to sharpen their pencils. I then have to take time out of getting students on task from the moment they enter the door or helping students one-on-one to sharpen pencils. Having an electric pencil sharpener would allow students to take care of this task on their own. Learn more »
