“I teach art at a second chance school. Most of our students have failed all their lives. Most come from a very low socio-economical back ground. 90% are on free and reduced lunches. I was hired to teach visual arts. My students have great success in my class room and for some, the first time to excel and feel good about themselves. Art can heal and I make this process happen to every student that takes my art classes. Our budget is non existent. I need resources to provide each student with quality art projects. Most of them have been never had good quality of anything. I would like to give them what they deserve. Everyone deserves a good education. That takes supplies and creative projects. I can provide the creative ideas, I just need the resources to make them happen. Thank You”
