I am running Readers Workshop in my classroom this year. This is a balanced literacy approach to teaching reading that centers around small-group instruction. However, I do not have a specific table in my room that is dedicated to small group instruction due to a lack of resources. This kidney shaped table would be the ideal small group instruction table.
