My school is a high poverty school. With all of the budget cuts new desks are not in the budget. The desks in my classroom are uneven, very old, chipped and damaged. It makes group very difficult when all of the desks are different. I would like the opportunity to give my students and future students new, safe, and developmentally appropriate desks in their room. The listening center we have used in our classroom was very old and finally broke last year. Our school does not have the funds to replace the one we had. I would like to give the students back their listening center.
