“Class 4-304 is an enthusiastic and motivated group of 4th grade students. We LOVE learning and we do so in different ways- seeing, hearing, touching and discussing. Our class has a diverse group of learners including students with special learning needs and English Language Learners. We have 2 teachers, as we are a Collaborative Team Teaching (CTT) classroom. The teachers strive every day to engage students in entertaining and motivating lessons that capture their attention and spark thinking. In order to do this, we need to use many colorful visuals, tactile items, art materials and media to compliment our creative and sassy style.
In order to set-up and maintain our dynamic classroom, our teachers use all available resources and frequently go above and beyond to promote an effective learning environment. This has become very difficult in light of the recent financial crisis and we are asking for help in providing the supplies we need to continue to promote our awesome learning experience. We hope that you take the time to help us remain successful and we thank you for your generosity in advance.

Being able to display student work and reference materials that students use in order to complete their work is absolutely essential. Velcro strips will help us to hang up items in the classroom that make it an exciting place to learn! Learn more »
Chart paper will be used to create diagrams, graphic organizers and other charts that can be posted to aid students in their work. Learn more »
This type of chart paper is easily portable so it can be used to help work with students in small groups and other locations, as we sometimes need to spread-out in order to learn best. Learn more »
We create many handouts and up-to-the-minute materials according to our students' needs. Research has shown that colorful paper can increase performance for students with special learning needs in some cases. And it's fun! We love to bring color to our students' lives! Learn more »

Copy paper is used to create printables for classroom and homework assignments. Additionally, students use the computers in our classroom to do research and practice what they've learned and often need to print the results of their work. Finally, students publish their writing on the computer and print it out so that we can display their fantastic work in our classroom and around the school. We are awesome writers! Learn more »
We use sentence strips for shared writing and to post new vocabulary and spelling words around our classroom. Having a place to organize our strips would mean that we can keep them neat and organized. Learn more »
This colorful writing paper will be used to show off our writing and use the different colored paper to revise our work during the writing process. Having different colors means we can cut strips to rewrite sections of our stories without erasing what was written. The teachers can see what the student originally wrote and what they changed it to in order to monitor thinking and learning throughout the writing process. We can also show off finished pieces in the classroom and around the school! Learn more »
It's nice to learn about addition and subtraction as well as making decisions while having fun! Learn more »
