“I teach choral music - 6th through 12th grades. For all kids, I teach them to sing, appreciate, and read music. For the 6/7 graders (beginners) a weekly assignment includes writing about a new piece of music, taking notes on it, and writing a paragraph about it - this helps prepare the kids for the annual ELA tests as well as future classes.”
