“I am a a Visual Arts teacher and Guidance Counselor at GHS. After 8 years of being out of the classroom and working as a full time counselor I was put back into the classroom last year to teach art for half of the day. I had taught Art for 8 years previously, but had given away all of my resources. After the previous teacher retired I inherited a great classroom but little to NO resource materials. The first year I survived on the supplies the previous teacher was able to store up over several years. This school year I will be in the Art room 4 to 5 hours a day and need to not only buy supplies with the very small few hundred dollar budget, but also need resources to teach with. Reference materials and posters of artwork are very expensive. Ideally I would LOVE a projector unit mounted in my room so that I can teach the students using the thousands of free resources on the web. This would also allow me to show master's images and teach the history of Art to 9th - 12th grade students. The possibilities are endless. And in the long run much less expensive for what the students will have access too. Class Web field trips to national and international museums, research, and technology , etc. PLEASE HELP, It will appreciated GREATLY!”

This projector will allow the students and myself to access thousands of resources using the internet. With little or NO visual art resources currently and the amount of information the web offers this is the most cost effective way to bring visual references from master artists, digital images, inovative technology infussed lessons and even virtual field trips into the classroom. The projector will especially allow me to incorporate Art History more efficiently and effectively. Learn more »
